Fast-Finish Teddy
I developed this bear for an event at Schuler Books. The event supported Lansing Comfort Bears, a local effort to put stuffed animals in police cruisers in the event a child is in a traumatic situation.
I expected participants from never-knit-before to professional knit instructor. I did get that variety.
This is a full-featured version, including hints and tricks to help the knitter. I’ve used it as a first knitting project for teen knitters.
One dollar from each pattern sold (even if you purchase it as part of a pattern collection) will be donated to EVE (End Violent Encounters), an amazing local charity which has a great record helping women get into safe new lives. They have helped two of my personal friends as well as scores of other women in the Lansing, Michigan area.
I also offer a free PDF version with stripped-down instructions, free for gift, charity and personal use. Click here for that version.
