Faux Bois Scarf and Mittens
Twisted traveling stitches in stranded color work, knit in the round, steeked, and finished with applied fabric lining.
Pattern includes instructions for matching mittens.
Pattern suggests 1 skein of color #8 Hemlock (CC) and 2 skeins of #37 Cocoa (MC) of Harrisville New England Knitters Highland.
Notions: Sharp sewing needle; tapestry needle; hand-washable backing fabric measuring approx. 8” x 69” / 20.5 x 175 cm (sample used 2 pieces raw silk fabric; 8” / 20.5 cm wide and 34 ½” / 88 cm long; seamed at center to create one long piece); matching thread; fabric scissors; steam iron.
