Faux Cabled Cowl
This fanciful neck warmer is a show stopper with a secret: it’s not as difficult to create as it looks! Worked entirely in garter stitch with a simple short row pattern, the faux cables are created at the very end using a basic chain technique.
Loom: 32 Peg Loom
Yarn: Approx 265 yds of heavy-
weight worsted/aran wool or wool blend. Sample used City Tweed by Knit Picks in jacquard: 55% merino wool, 25% superfine alpaca, 20% do-negal tweed, 164 yards/100 grams.
Notions: knitting tool, tapestry needle, row counter, scissors, 5mm cro-chet hook, peg markers or masking tape and pen, two decorative buttons
