Faux Earflap Hats
One set of instructions can be used to make two different hat sizes. The adult female size uses DK weight yarn (Nordic Fiber Arts Strikkegarn), and the adult male size used worsted weight yarn (Nordic Fiber Arts Vamsegarn).
Gauge:
22” Circumference: 22 stitches = 4” in stockinette stitch
24” Circumference: 20 stitches = 4” in stockinette stitch
Yarn Requirements:
22” Circumference - 2 skeins 103 Light Grey Heather (A); 1 skein each 136 Black (B); 174 Red (C); and 114 Charcoal Grey Heather (D)
24” Circumference - 2 skeins V03 Light Grey Heather (A); 1 skein each V13 Grey Heather (B); V14 Charcoal Grey Heather (C); and V36 Black (D)
