The Faux Fur Otter Snuggler is a sweet crochet stuffie that looks realistic! Its soft unstuffed body, sweet face, & huggable long arms are perfect for cuddling. The head is crocheted in one piece and includes clever color changes without sewing or separate pieces. This furry stuffed animal will turn into your child’s favorite lovey and emotional support amigurumi! Make this doll as an heirloom birthday gift, for a baby shower, Easter, Christmas holiday present, or as a market craft fair product. This pattern is suitable for intermediate to advanced crocheters who can crochet with faux fur yarn (I used Lion Brand Yarn’s Go for Faux). Chenille velvet and blanket yarn can also work for a plush look.

MATERIALS
Furry super bulky weight “6” yarn in beige and brown (I used Lion Brand yarn’s Go for Faux, 1 skein of each color)
6mm hook (for the head only)
9mm hook
16mm plastic safety eyes (Note: Do not use if this is for a baby due to choking hazard. Instead, embroider eyes with yarn or thread.)
14mm plastic safety nose
Stitch marker
Stuffing
Yarn needle
Scissors

ch = chain
sl st = slip stitch
sc = single crochet
dc = double crochet
inc = increase (insert 2 sc in same st)
dec = decrease (sc 2 sts together)
Dc-inc = dc increase (insert 2 dc in same st)
Dc-dec = dc decrease (dc 2 sts together)
