Cocoons or shrugs are so comfy to wear and warm as a hug. Just throw on and go. They’re also great to wear around the house, your arms are free! This is a great pattern to use up your leftovers of bulky yarn (this is on the lighter side of bulky). You can use a different color on every row if you’d like!

This cocoon is very easy to work. It looks like Fair Isle, but it’s NOT! The cocoon is worked using slipped stitches to imitate colorwork. If you haven’t tried this technique, here’s a great way to give it a go!

Super simple, attractive, and quick, since you are knitting with bulky yarn, size US 10/6mm needles, and with only one color per row. The edge is an easy I-cord bind off. Complete instructions are included for working the bind off.

This is a wonderful garment to wear and soooo easy! There are two versions included with this pattern. As shown in the photographs, the first version uses eight different colors that require weaving lots of ends OR a four color version that looks just as good, but does not require weaving in all those ends.
