Pattern description from Alterknits: “This tank is worked in one color and then embellished with novelty yarn sewn into the rib panel to create the look of a ruffle. Ribbon alone or a combination of ribbon and yarn work just as well for the ruffle. Experiment to figure out what you like best.”
Finished Measurements: 32 (36, 40, 44)“ chest
Yarn:
- S.R. Kertzer Super 10 (100% mercerized cotton; 249 yards/125 grams): 4 skeins (MC). #3832 stonewash
- S.R. Kertzer Ranee (80% nylon/20% polyester; 77 yards/50 grams): 1 skein (CC). #51 dark blue
Needles: One set straight needles size US 8 (5mm). Change needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
Notions: Yarn needle, size H/8 (5 mm) crochet hook, stitch markers.
Additional Gauge: ; 19 sts and 28 rows = 4” in Rib panel
Note from Alterknits: “To create smooth edges on garment pieces, work edge (selvedge) stitches throughout pattern, as follows: Slip the first st knitwise on every row, and knit the last st.
