This is a FREE pattern for a fake sheepskin rug, made from a sheepskin shaped base, with the faux fur yarn surface crocheted on top.

As long as the gauge is the same, any yarn can be used for the single crochet portion of the base. The faux fur yarn can also be substituted if necessary.
