Where we are, in Toronto, Spring can see you wet in the morning, sweating in the afternoon and searching for mittens by nightfall. What I needed was one item of clothing that could take the kids through whatever weather the spring sends our way. For chilly mornings and cold evenings the hood and mittens are our best friends but come the afternoon we’re more than happy to button those mittens up out of the way and go digging in the sand. The hood also goes down to reveal a mock turtle neck which helps to close those gaps on colder days.
From car seat to grocery shopping, the park to the library this sweater is suited to being worn just about anywhere making it a great single piece or layer. If you look closely at the little girl in white you might even see how it can be used as the base of some pretty wild dress-up.
