This feather-and-fan washcloth pattern is included as part of my handout on beginning lace techniques. Two other cloths are also included in the handout, which covers techniques such as yarnovers, variable stitch counts, reading charts, and the dreaded “no-stitch” box. Written directions are included for the chart-averse.

These cloth patterns are suitable for use with yarns from sport to worsted weight, as written; heavier or finer yarns may be substituted by using fewer or more pattern repetitions.
