Feather and Fan, a traditional lace pattern in hand knitting, is fun to work on the knitting board. Once you’ve worked through the stitch pattern a couple of times you’ll be surprised at how easy it is. Choosing a self-striping yarn accentuates the stitch pattern, but it would look beautiful in a solid color as well.
