I used a partial skein of what I think was Knit Picks Swish, dyed with Easter egg dye. As knit it came out to 4 inches/10 cm wide and 6 feet, 7 inches (a little more than 2 meters) long and I used pretty much all the yarn I had (about 340 yards if my guess on what yarn it is was correct).

You can make any length you like/have yarn for and the width can be adjusted in multiples of 18 stitches.
