This is a quick, fun pattern for some knitted feathers. You can use any leftover yarn - variegated works well - mine were knitted with thin 4 ply and DK weight yarns. Patterns for two sizes are given and the finished feathers can be used as bookmarks or decorations. They would be popular with cats too.
