This pattern was created for the 2026 Puget Sound LYS Tour
It will be available for purchase Wednesday, May 13th.
I love plaid. I love hoodies. They both give me cozy, comfy vibes. This is my fusion of the two.
Stitches/Skills Required: chain, slip stitch, single crochet, yarn-over slip stitch, reading written instructions. You can do this!
Size: One size, easily adjustable, pattern repeat included
Hook: US I (5.5mm) and US 7 (4.50mm) or hook sizes that gets gauge/desired fabric.
Note:** This designer crochets at a looser gauge than average. You may need to use larger hooks.*
Notions: tapestry needle, stitch markers, scissors
Yarn: Approximately one skein each of two contrasting colors in Black Cat Fibers Essential DK, 3.5oz (100g), 231yds (211m), Superwash Merino or equivalent DK/light worsted weight yarn.
Sample pictured was made with Black Cat Fibers Essential DK in colorways:
MC: Moonstone
CC: Ivan’s Blue.
Gauge: 13.5 sts and 17 rows in 4in x 4in (10cm x 10cm) in single crochet stitches.
