Sometimes the smallest things take the most room in your heart. – Winnie the Pooh
I love knitting fisherman’s rib. I find it so repetitive and soothing to knit but the best part is that it is the squishiest fabric I’ve felt in knitting. This is a simple blanket with an icord cast on and icord edges so no finshing when you’re all done. It’s easy to pick up and put down and works up much more quickly in chunky yarn. My recommendation is that you hold a bunch of strands double or triple if you don’t have bulky yarn at hand. A very repetitive stitch pattern worked up in a chunky yarn makes for the squishiest blanket you’ll ever make.
