Felis Cowl
Felis is a genus of small and medium-sized cat, which I felt was appropriate for this fingering weight shawl. This little sister of the Tortie Cowl, the Felis Cowl is made from a lightweight yarn and is a perfect one skein project. The pattern repeats are simple but fun, and add interesting texture to this light shawl/cowl hybrid. Great for those of us that always have trouble wrapping shawls and prefer the ease of wear cowls have.
Gauge: 22 sts and 30 rows / 4”
Materials:
Yarn: Dyehouse Yarn Cherry Creek Sock, 1 skein (or approx. 425 yards of a sock weight yarn)
Needles: 32” circulars, Size US 7 (4.5 mm)
Additional notions: Stitch markers, darning needle.
