Felted Classic Mitts
My Felted Classic Mitts are the perfect cold weather accessory when you want warmth without the bulk. Knit loosely out of 100% wool yarn on large needles, these knit up in no time. I’ve added just a bit of short row shaping to accommodate the natural curves of the hand and make for a comfortable fit. These are very easy to adjust for length, and will be your perfect shape once they have been felted.
These are beginner appropriate and also make great gifts.
Skills Required
Cable cast-on, knit, purl, increasing, decreasing, German short rows, picking up stitches, working in the round using dpns or magic loop.

Notes
- Choose a size based on the palm circumference AFTER felting. These are intended to be worn with zero ease, but will be custom shaped to your measurements after felting.
- You can easily add/subtract length in the cuff, and the palm by adding more rounds of st st, or working fewer rounds.
