The collar is made from knitted fabric that is felted in a washine machine then cut to shape. Use Jamieson & Smith Shetland yarn and larger needles than recommended: about 5mm or 6mm. Wash the knitted fabric at 40°C. THen use assorted vintage buttons, stitched in place, to decorate the collar.
