YARN: Worsted weight wool. Pictured booties were made with
55% mohair/45% wool blend that was combined with a very fine
strand of 2 ply wool. Any animal fiber such as wool, alpaca, mohair
etc. which has not been treated or superwashed will work. DK and
Sport will make smaller booties, different fibers and yarn weights
yield surprising results. Elasticized Cotton: bootie socks were
made with Fixation by Cascade Yarn—98.3% cotton, 1.7% elastic.
