This pattern is for a knitted and felted humpback whale. It is knit in stockinette and is suitable for advanced beginners on up. Techniques to know are basic knit and purl, increase and decrease (k2tog). The pattern is knit primarily from graphs rather than written out line by line.

The pattern requires one skein each of Patons Classic Wool in Dark Gray Mix and Aran. You will also need size 9 needles, polyester fiberfill, and two 9mm safety eyes. The finished whale will measure approximately 19” long.
