Knitted and Felted Manta Ray is worked in Patons Classic Wool and will measure approximately 12” across the wings after felting. Gauge is unimportant but make sure your knitting is loose to allow shrinkage during felting. The pattern requires less than one skein each of white and black, plus a small amount of medium gray. (You may use other yarns if you wish, but test to make sure they felt and that the colors do not bleed into each other).

This pattern is for intermediate to advanced knitters and assumes knowledge of knit (k), purl (p), increase (inc), decrease (dec), ICord, and knitting in the round on double pointed needles. The directions are written out row by row; there is also a charted graph.
