I designed this bag for my mother, the church pianist. It’s just the right size for a music book or two!

N.B.: Be sure to knit a swatch and test-felt it to see how much your chosen yarn felts. In the third picture down you can see my test-felt swatch - just one repeat of the keyboard design. I worked it in the round on DPNs, then seamed up the bottom edge and felted it…so my swatch doubles as a little makeup-bag or notebook-sleeve to carry inside the larger tote! (It’s also a good idea to include some of your red yarn in the swatch purse to make sure it doesn’t bleed when you felt it!)
