This pattern is for a knitted and felted rhinoceros. When completed, it will measure approximately 12” long. You will need one skein of Patons Classic Wool in dark grey (other wool yarns may be used but please knit and felt a test swatch first). You will also need size 9 needles, two 9mm safety eyes, and polyester fiberfill. Gauge is not critical but your knitting should be loose to allow for felting.

This pattern is for intermediate knitters and assumes knowledge of the following: knit (k), purl (p), make 1 (m1), increase (inc), decrease/knit 2 together (k2tog), and short row shaping/wrap and turn (W/T). Instructions are written out line by line and include photos of each step.
