“Fenella” is a large crescent shawl knit from the top down, with a knitted-on lace border. Fenella comes from the Celtic/Gaelic meaning “white-shouldered”, and is considered to be primarily the Scottish variant of the name, perfect for this big cosy shawl inspired by Shetland lace.

Wingspan: 67 inches. Depth at widest point: 22 inches.

This design was a collaboration with The Plucky Knitter, and the sample shawl is knit from undyed Cashmere DK.
