This fun design is inspired by the many types of native ferns that grow in Oregon including Maidenhair Fern, Sword Fern, Licorice Fern, and Giant Chain Fern. Ferns grow in nearly every corner of our state, in shady forests and sunny meadows, and can be as small as just a few inches or as tall as six feet.
Yarn:
1 (1, 1, 2) skeins Superwash Merino Fingering by Northbound Knitting (100% Superwash Merino Wool, 400yds/100g), in colorway Malachite
Finished Sizes:
Approximately 8” wide x 27 1/4” (29 1/2”, 31 3/4”, 34”) long at neck edge
