This pattern is only available free with the purchase of Delaine Merino.

Ferncroft is Stone Wool’s version of the iconic Watch Cap. It’s warm, snug, utilitarian—and pretty. We’ve worked it in garter stitch for extra warmth and softness. The cap begins at the top of the crown and is worked down to the bottom edge. You can make it larger by working more increase rounds, or smaller by eliminating a few. The pattern is written for knitting round using the Magic Loop Method, but you can easily knit the piece using double-pointed needles. Work it in navy, if you like tradition, or in any of Delaine Merino’s 20 lively colors.
