My Ferris Wheel pillow is inspired by the movie, The Notebook. After watching Noah climb the Ferris wheel at the beginning of the movie, I thought it would be fun to crochet a Ferris wheel! This pillow fits an 18-inch round pillow insert. 5 buttons hold the pillow together, so it can be taken on and off of the pillow. The written pattern includes some pictures to explain the steps. I write my patterns in U.S. terms, but the beginning of the pattern explains how to translate it to UK terms if you prefer them! I used Cascade Ultra Pima yarn (219 yd skeins) in the following shades: 2 in natural (cream), 1 in vintage rose (berry), and 1 in sunshine (yellow). This was my first time using the vintage rose color, and I really like how it looks with the yellow. However, any DK weight yarn will work, and feel free to try out different color combinations! You will also need a 3.5 mm crochet hook, 18-inch round pillow, and 5 buttons (1.5 cm in diameter).
