Add a touch of woodland wonder to your tree with these cosy knitted creatures. The little family of woodland animals are dressed for wintry weather, and the outfits of trousers, sweaters and scarves are removable if you wish to swap them around each season.

Designed by Amanda Berry @fluffandfuzz, the toys are knitted in acrylic DK yarns on single pointed needles (not in the round).

NEEDLES:
A pair of 3mm single pointed knitting needles (US 2.5).

RECOMMENDED YARN:
Yarnsmiths Merino DK Superwash, 100% merino wool, double knitting/light worsted weight; one 50g/110m skein in each colour.


NOTIONS:
Tapestry needle, toy filling, stitch markers, embroidery thread to add features, and domed black half shank buttons for eyes.


SIZES:
One size only - Up to 13cm tall.

TECHNIQUES:
For confident beginners and above, other techniques used include casting on and off, knits, purls, increases and decreases, knitting stripes, and seaming to finish.
