Féth Shawl
FÉTH is named after the magical mist “Féth Fíada” in Irish mythology, which I think perfectly captures the enchanting nature of this shawl. It is made from the most gorgeous natural and hand-dyed yarn, holding one strand of a lovely shetland and romney blend together with one strand of silk mohair throughout - and let me tell you, this combination is simply divine!
What I truely love about FÉTH is the intricate cable and eyelet detail. I hope that - just like me - you will delight in the easy-to-remember stitch pattern that adds just the right amount of texture and visual interest. The stitch detail is repeated more and more often towards the bottom edge, making this an engaging knit throughout. Even as the rows got longer, I couldn’t set FÉTH aside because it was so lovely to see the stitch detail unfold.
Knit from the top down, FÉTH gradually increases in size, creating an elegant triangular shape with a wide span that drapes beautifully over the shoulders. I hope you’ll love it just as much as I do. Happy knitting!
This pattern was professionally tech edited and test knit before the release.
