Fethaland Shawl
by Anne Eunson
Uses 5 balls of Jamison’s Ultra
Wingspan 53in/135cm Depth 19in/48cm.
Fethaland Shawl is worked entirely in
garter stitch. A lace border is knitted,
then stitches are picked up along one
edge (but not picked up and knitted –
stitches are created by picking up a
strand from the edge of the work and
placing them on the needle), and the
shawl worked from the outside in,
with decreases that form the shawl
into a gentle crescent shape.
