Cold feet on a chilly afternoon were the inspiration for these snuggly warm lounge socks. The simple ribbing lets the beauty of the yarn shine through, an interesting stripe series based on the Fibonacci Sequence allows for a great range of fiber and color play, and sport weight yarn makes for a fairly quick knit of these charming socks. Hand-spun yarn using beautiful or rare fibers would be a wonderful treat. Make identical or “fraternal twin” socks to suit the knitter’s or recipient’s mood. Mix and match favorite colors or fibers or textures for a truly unique creation.
