Fibonacci Swirl Hat
by Judy Bond
This swirly top-down hat inspired by the Fibonacci Golden Spiral is worked in the round with a single skein of yarn. A smooth or slightly nubby yarn is best for showing the swirl.
Since gauge is not critical, it is a great pattern to for that beautiful skein of farm yarn that showed up in your shopping bag. Calculate gauge and decide how many 11-stitch panels to work for the size desired. Height is easily adjusted.
The skills needed are a circular cast on, working in the round, left lifted increase, knit front back, and yarnover. There are written instructions, a Stitch-Map for the panels and links to videos for a circular cast on and left lifted increase.
The pattern has been tech edited.
