This very warm and mathematically fashionable scarf is great for college students. The Fibonacci sequence is a natural striping pattern where you begin with 0 and 1. The next number is determined by adding the two previous numbers together (0=1=1, 1+1=2, 2+2=3, 2+3=5, 3+5=8 and so on).
