Make a statement with this pretty, sturdy felted colourwork bag. Pattern starts with a provisional CO that is later closed with either Kitchener stitch or 3-needle BO; links to tutorials on these techniques are included. This pattern requires you to carry unusually long floats, but if you catch the floats up frequently and in different places so that they’re not secured in the same place every row, you’ll be fine. Recommended for knitters with some experience with stranded colourwork.

You will also need:
stitch marker
tapestry needle
(2) 2¼” gate rings
(1) 14” zipper
sewing needle & thread (for zipper)
fabric for lining (optional)
sweater shaver (optional)
spare cable for 100cm/40” needle or longer (optional)

Gate rings have a carabiner-type opening that allows you to attach the strap to the bag after felting. If you have trouble locating gate rings, I found them here: http://www.etsy.com/shop/PurseSuppliesRUs
