This half-pi shawl is worked with increases worked on increase rows at various points in the shawl. The shawl is mostly worked in stockinette stitch and it has bobble spheres in two different sizes. The flowers are created using simple embroidery after the shawl is blocked.
Materials:
• Yarn: 2 skeins of The Uncommon Thread Everyday Sport (100% superwash merino, 328 yds / 300 m – 100 g). Or approx. 656 yds / 600 m of sport-weight yarn.
• Needles: US 6 / 4 mm 32–40” / 80–100 cm circular needles.
• Notions: 16 stitch markers, waste yarn for embroidering, tapestry needle.
The sample was knit using The Uncommon Thread Everyday Sport in the colourway Golden Praline.
Gauge:
24 sts x 21 rows = 4” / 10 cm in stockinette stitch, after blocking.
