I designed this filet crochet blanket square for the Angel Afghan Project back in 2001 (when I was still using my married name). You could use it on its own for blanket squares, or you could repeat the chart three or four times to get a row of motifs already joined.

You could also use it with knit and purl stitches to create a dishcloth, or knitted blanket squares.
