I used the extended double crochet stitch. I have a link to my photo tutorial on my pattern page if you need to see how the stitch is done, It’s very similar to the double crochet, except that there is one extra step, very easy. Please feel free to use the normal double crochet or even the treble crochet, if you desire.I used a vintage Lee Wards #7 steel hook to make it.
