This is a crescent shawl in all-over Tunisian crochet lace with a crochet picot leaf edging. It was originally published in Inside Crochet magazine.
The shawl is a one skein project.
The delicate and airy stitch pattern was inspired by the handcrafted silver jewellery of Orissa in Eastern India which is made by twisting fine silver wires into intricate filigree patterns. These thread-like networks are replicated in the slender interlocking lines of the shawl.
You can take a closer look at the shawl in this video.
