AN ELEGANT pattern of twisted stitches decorates this feminine sock design from Jane Burns. The patterning starts in the cuff, and flows down into the leg; both are worked from charts. The heels and toes are knitted in a contrasting colour for added interest. Jane has used yarn from The Wool Barn, an artisan hand-dyer based in Hertfordshire. Twist Sock is a classic sock yarn which is kettle-dyed in small batches, and comes in both 100g skeins and 20g mini skeins.
