This is a triangle-shaped shawl worked from the wingspan down.

You can make this shawl using a single skein of fingering-weight yarn, or spice it up with blocks of color, like the two-color version.

The two-color version uses 300 yards of the primary color for the body and edging, and 400 yards of the secondary color for the lace portion.

The pattern includes both written and charted instructions.

As written, the small version of the shawl blocks out to 45” wide by 25” deep, but the pattern is easily customizable to your size preference depending on the number of charts you chose to work. The largest size is 67” wide by 35” deep.

12/10/15 ERRATA! The written instructions for Row 23 of Chart 3 should read as follows:

Row 23: K3, YO, K6, (YO, K2Tog, K5) x 16, YO, K2Tog, K3, YO, SM, K1, YO, K3, K2TogTbl, YO, (K5, K2TogTBL, YO) x 16, K6, YO, K3. (257 sts)
