I’m so excited to share with you… My Rhinebeck sweater for 2025: it’s for every single body!
The charismatic and rugged Maine coastline lives in every stitch of this sweater. Simple texture, fresh ribbing and a nostalgic rolled edge combine for the most perfectly classic pullover ever.
Finest Kind embodies the hardworking fishermen of the Atlantic, worked up in a weatherproof yarn that softens surprisingly as it breaks in. Wearing it is as relaxing as a best friend who has just slung their arm around your shoulder, It is uncontrollable laughter and cheap coffee at the edge of campfire- the kind that warms your soul. It is bare feet, rolled jeans, and no pretenses.
With 12 different carefully graded sizes, you’re sure to find your perfect fit.
Sweater is worked in the round from the bottom up, then split for upper body/armholes and worked flat. Shoulders are joined with 3 needle bind off for strength. Sleeves are picked up and knit in the round. Sizes are referred to as A (B, C, D, E)(F, G, H) (I, J, K, L) within the pattern.
Can be worn with a wide range of ease. For a close fit, modeled on Justin, choose 2-4” / 5-10 cm of positive ease. For a roomy fit, modeled on Alicia, choose 8-12”/20-30.5 cm positive ease. Sample modeled with approximately 10”/25 cm of positive ease on Alicia. Please see page 7 for schematic & detailed finished measurements.
