This simple rectangular wrap is inspired by the beauty and geometry of windows in the Mediterranean with their eye-catching curved shapes. These windows are portals to the outdoors.

Tapestry needle. You may also wish to use stitch markers to mark repeats in the lace pattern.

PATTERN NOTES

  • The wrap is worked flat with a 0.5” (1.75cm) of seed stitch edging (that’s moss stitch for you UK knitters) along the cast on and cast off edges.

  • There is also a narrow 2-stitch edging of garter stitch along the side edges.

  • All even rows of the lace chart are purled plain.
