The mitts can be worked with a long cuff or a short cuff and can either be felted for extra durability and warmth or left un-felted providing more flexibility in the sizing.

The pattern assumes familiarity with seamless entrelac. The thumb gussets are created with a somewhat unique entrelac construction technique.

Directions for symmetrical mitts are provided although not required. Total yardage listed assumes approximately half in each of two colors.
