The Finn shawl is knitted top down in a crescent shape with three vey distinct yarns. The shawl constantly increases along the sides, a bright chenille yarn, beautifully and prominently marks the beginning of the lace pattern which is knitted with our Delicate skein in 3 coordinated colors. Lastly the bulky chenille yarn ends this shawl with a bang with one knitted row and a loose bind off….

The pattern is entirely written and offers a chart for the lace pattern. Due to the open lace and bulky chenille yarn, it’s 70“ along the bottom edge and 15.25“ in middle height.

Yarn
C1 - Spring skein, 275 yards in a combo of 40% organic cotton/60% bamboo in sport weight.
C2 - A mini skein of 20 yards in a bulky Chenille.
C3 - Delicate skein, a Yarnz2go exclusive. 220 yards comprised of three separate strands in as many colors which create a sport weight yarn.

Notions needed
US size 3 (3.25 mm) circular needle 40” (102 cm) in length.
10 Stitch markers.
Tapestry needle or crochet hook for finishing.

Gauge
18 sts and 33 rows in 4” of garter stitch.
