Finsen was inspired by the Tokyo Shawl. It uses a gradient on gradient marl sequence with a thin pop of color between the movements to add visual interest and to make the knitting swap one strand. The fabric is the same as the Tokyo Shawl: Isager Spinni with Isager Alpaca 1.

The working yardage is 800 yards, and the dimensions of the sample are 13 x 82 inches (33 x 208 cm).
