Fir is an asymmetrical shaped shawl, worked from the bottom up (from the largest to the smallest edge).
It features some simple lace, some lovely slipped stitches, and a lot of garter goodness.

It’s a perfect Winter piece to wrap around your neck and shoulders when the snow is heavily falling, and you want to stay warm and toasty.

The shawl is knit in l’Echappée Laine Shetland (Worsted), a deliciously rustic French yarn. L’échappée laine Shetland belongs to the yarns traditionally called “Shetland” by the spinning mills because it shares some similar features as a traditional Shetland yarn: it’s a 100% wool yarn, the fibers are 25 microns and the yarn is carded which results in a woollen spun yarn

For this piece you will need 9 balls in the color of your choice, or about 900 meters of worsted weight yarn.
