Notions
• Cable needle
A cable needle will be used during clues 1, 2, & 3.
• An extra circular needle, needle cable, or scrap yarn.
This is optional, however, I recommend having one of the options handy just in case you decide to use it. It will become relevant in clue 2.
• Seed beads – optional, used in clue 4
Approx. 156 beads
The beads in this design are optional. Choosing not to use them will not take away from the overal design of the shawl. Since they are used only in clue 4 you may begin without having decided. If you do decide to use beads, know that they will be used against your main color (solid).
• Beading Implement
If you settle on using beads then you will need a beding implement. Beads are added as you go (NOT pre-strung!), so you will need either a small crochet hook, beader, or dental floss depending on what method of adding beads you are most comfortable with. I use a tiny steel crochet hook.
