ERRATA 8/7/25: Step 3 should add the provisional cast on stitches directly to the KFB edge as pictured in the attached photo here, not to the k2tog edge as written.

Please change Step 3 to start with the provisional cast on and eliminate the beginning instruction.

When i saw this yarn in this Fire and Ice inspiration color, i just needed to knit with it.
Starting with a simple lace pattern on the diagonal, you add a provisional cast on to switch over to a Center Decrease Triangle (I used yarn from the center of the ball for greater contrast). Then continue the diagonal lace in the other direction.
Once again a new provisional cast on will start a new Center Decrease Triangle facing the other direction.
Then the diagonal lace continues in the same direction as the one you started, creating a lengthy scarf that can be worn so many ways.
