Finished size: fire engine, 19cm long, firefighters, 10cm tall
All parts are knitted flat and sewn up at the end. A crochet hook is used solely for creating chains, and no prior crochet skills are necessary.
The wheels of the fire engine do not rotate. The outfits on the dolls are attached to their bodies and cannot be removed.
The essential knitting techniques required are the basic knit and purl; however, be cautious while assembling the pieces. Having previous toy-making experience is advantageous. This project requires small quantities of DK (8-ply) weight yarn. You are welcome to utilise your yarn stash, referring to the yarn details provided below.
