Just when it seems like winter will never end, the weather warms just a bit and just as the birds start to sing again. That’s when I get the itch to crochet earrings. Nothing makes me think of spring and summer like crochet earrings! The First Bud Earrings are inspired by the first hints of spring flowers pushing up through the winter ground. They bring hope and beauty back to a gloomy, cold world!

What you need to know:
Chain
Half double crochet
Single crochet
Slip stitch
Treble crochet
Yarn over

Materials:
#10 cotton crochet thread
1.5mm hook
Scissors and small needle
30mm earring hoops
Blocking mat and pins
Stiffening spray and plastic wrap (optional)
